Our pricing is based on numerous factors: we need to know the date, hours, travel distance, staffing choices, and other specifics in order to determine pricing. We can usually meet or beat any price. Please call 515-450-6478 for pricing and availability.
Our normal pricing is based on a four-hour rental. We also offer rentals by the day and for multiple days.
For the best selection and availability, we recommend making reservations as far in advance as possible. Our inflatables are extremely popular and regularly sell out.
We usually require a retainer for new clients and certain types of events. (This requirement can be waived. Please call to see if a retainer is required for your event.)
We offer delivery, set up, and tear down services for our inflatables.
All dimensions are listed on our website, but please add at least 10 feet to both the length and width to allow for room to walk. When trying to determine space requirements for multiple inflatables, please contact Midwest Inflatables.
We can set up on grass, concrete, asphalt, carpet, smooth wood, or rubber. We will not set up on gravel or other rough surfaces. The area needs to be flat for most inflatables, but a few inflatables are safe on a gentle slope. Please call us to discuss whether you have an appropriate set up area.
We can set up indoors, provided the door width, room dimensions, ceiling height, and room access are sufficient.
Most inflatables need a blower that requires a single 110V 20 amp electrical circuit, which is considered a normal outlet. Some larger inflatables require two or three blowers. We offer generators for an additional charge.
Our inflatables cannot be used and operated outdoors in the following weather conditions: winds more than 20 m.p.h., rain, lightning, drizzle, hail, sleet, snow, or ice. We monitor the weather forecasts and can adjust the hours, reschedule, or cancel an event, as necessary. PLEASE NOTE: Inflatables are made from vinyl and can become extremely hot during the summer months.
Please call 515-450-6478 to cancel. We accept cancellations within 24 hours of the event start time due to weather conditions that would prevent the safe use and operation of our inflatables. The retainer is nonrefundable, but will be applied to a rescheduled event, date subject to our availability. A retainer must be used within 15 months of the original event date or it will be forfeit. If the cancellation is made after our driver has already left our facility, client is responsible for the delivery charge. If the cancellation is made after we begin to set up at your event, client is responsible for full payment. When the weather forecast is uncertain, we try to be flexible and work to accommodate our clients.

Cancellation or rescheduling for nonweather-related reasons must be done at least 21 days prior to the event date. The retainer is nonrefundable, but will be applied to a rescheduled event, date subject to our availability. A retainer must be used within 15 months of the original event date or it will be forfeit. Midwest Inflatables will require payment in full for events cancelled or rescheduled for nonweather-related reasons within 21 days of the event date. When you return a signed contract to Midwest Inflatables, it becomes a legally binding agreement subject to the terms and conditions contained within the contract.
We can provide staffing at an additional charge. Each inflatable requires at least one or two trained volunteers or operators.
All volunteers must be at least 16-years old. Volunteers are expected to follow all safety training by Midwest Inflatables staff and rules posted on the inflatables. Volunteers are not allowed to use cellular phones or personal music players, or have other distractions.
Our inflatables have the latest safety features and are very safe. The most important part of safety is having a trained operator and following all safety rules and instructions.
We are fully insured and carry $1,000,000 liability coverage. Please let us know if you would like a copy of our Certificate of Liability Insurance.
We charge $150.00 per entity to be added as "additional insured."
Midwest Inflatables has an Amusement Operator Permit from the State of Iowa and all of our inflatables are inspected prior to use each year by the State of Iowa.
